Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Marketing with a Minor in Ethics and Sustainability from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She earned a Master of Arts in Human Dimensions of Organizations from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em!), a degree that draws on disciplines in the humanities and social and behavioral sciences to understand people’s behaviors, inspirations, and motivations.

As a military spouse, she understands the unique challenges faced by military families and is passionate advocate for mental health initiatives and community-based resources.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys cheering on Austin FC, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her husband, Brian, stepson, Niko, and their dachshunds, Wesley and Whiskey.
